Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with friends and family – Sturbridge has a place for everyone, no matter your travel style and budget. Accommodations range from family-friendly campgrounds to boutique hotels near popular tourist attractions to economy hotels that provide great amenities on a budget.

Here are a few places to consider as you plan your visit.

Campgrounds & RV Resorts

Best for: Families, nature lovers, and hiking enthusiasts

Nestled in the heart of Pioneer Valley, Village Green Family Campground is known for its welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere. It is a great choice for when you want to combine a classic family camping experience with exploring nearby cultural attractions, such as the Brimfield Antique Show and the historic Old Sturbridge Village.

If you want to experience a more modern camping experience, Pine Lake RV Resort is the place to go. The resort boasts more than 300 RV pads and efficiency cabins and offers families a choice between staying in an RV or a stand-alone cottage. It’s conveniently located five minutes from Sturbridge’s shopping center, so you can quickly access any essentials before exploring the many acres of hiking trails through the resort.

What sets the Thousand Trails Strubridge RV Resort apart is its lakefront view set amid peaceful woodlands. It is known for its rustic New England Charm and resort-style amenities. The resort is excellent for relaxing and enjoying the view with friends and family, but if you’re planning a more adventurous stay, the resort also offers plenty of activities to enjoy amid its easy-access campsites and great views.

In addition to its historical significance, Publick House also features a bake shoppe, gift shop, and a swimming pool to make your stay even more enjoyable. The inn is just a short walk from a number of restaurants, including Sturbridge Seafood and B.T.’s Smokehouse.
