Fishing at Westville Lake

Spend your afternoon fishing at Westville Lake. Here you will find an abundance of warm-water fish in the lake including large-mouth bass and panfish. The State of Massachusetts stocks the Quinebaug River above the dam with trout, creating a popular fly-fishing location as well.

Day Two

Kayak or Canoe at White's Landing

Explore the Quaboag River from White’s Landing. White’s Landing offers self-guided canoe or kayak rentals so you can explore the scenic and historic river.

After your paddle, grab a snack at White’s Landing’s famous Bake Shoppe.

Spend the Afternoon at Well's State Park

Spend your afternoon at Wells State Park, located on Walker Pond. The park offers kayaking, canoeing and fishing. Get back out on the water or just relax and enjoy the views.

Dinner at The Duck

You worked up an appetite today, so end your night with dinner at The Duck, a loft dining experience like no other. Day Three

Kick off your last day with a leisurely breakfast at Cedar Street Café. The café features indoor dining in the beautifully renovated Alpheus Wight farmhouse and outdoor dining on the patio.

Spend the Day at the Beach

Pack a picnic and spend your last day hanging out at Cedar Lake Recreation Area. Take a swim at Sturbridge’s best public beach, let the kids play on the playground, get competitive on the basketball, tennis or pickleball courts, and enjoy scenic views of Cedar Pond.
