Sturbridge offers many events throughout the year that can include local concerts, farmers markets, fun runs or the continuous interactive programming at Old Sturbridge Village.

Writing Poetry with Liz & Jess

Come join us for poetry writing workshops where we’ll explore poetic forms such as found poetry, dada poetry, and chain poetry. Get your creative juices flowing in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere – sharing is optional! Registration is not required.

Chinese Calligraphy

Come to the Joshua Hyde Public Library, Sturbridge on Thursday, July 6 at 6:00pm. Learn one of the earliest forms of written language. All materials will be supplied. Registration is required. Sponsored by the Friends of the JHPL.

Summer Reading Kick-Off: Book Bites

Whet your appetite with the first paragraph of a new book! Join library staff and patrons as they serve up some tasty titles for you to try. Community Puzzle Swap

Come take part in our Community Puzzle Swap! Puzzles of all sizes with be available and will be collected prior to or on the day of the swap. Tables will be set up for people to work on puzzles cooperatively during this time. No registration required.
