Discover how New England farmers used the wool from their sheep in the 1830’s at Old Sturbridge Village’s annual sheep shearing event.  Throughout the weekend, farmers will shear our  sheep and costumed historians will demonstrate the entire wool process from collecting wool, scouring, carding to dyeing, spinning and then knitting the hand-spun yarn.
