DESCRIPTION:Join Massachusetts author Gail Ward Olmsted for a discussion of Olmsted’s life and legacy and a reading from her latest novel. Landscape of a Marriage is the story of Olmsted and his late brother’s widow Mary. Theirs began as a marriage of convenience but grew into a lifelong love affair as described in this critically acclaimed novel\, published July 29\, 2021. \nGail Ward Olmsted was a marketing executive and a college professor before she began writing fiction on a full time basis. A trip to Sedona\, AZ inspired her first novel Jeep Tour. She grew up on Long Island\, and was educated at Middlebury College in Vermont and Trinity College\, Dublin\, where she studied Irish Literature. She has worked as a journalist and writing teacher and now lives with her family on a farm in Vermont where they raise sheep and grow blueberries.
